We are looking for an IT Manager on a 12-month contract position with conversion to a permanent headcount, based on performance.
Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on and strategically minded IT, SAP & IT Projects Manager to lead and manage all aspects of IT infrastructure, SAP systems, retail and office technology and cybersecurity across the region. This role requires a strong background in SAP Business One (SAP B1), excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to conceptualize, map, and optimize data and system flows from end to end.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact across departments and regions, working closely with stakeholders in Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan, while also supporting internal staff with critical business information and system insights.
Job Description:
Managing IT Staff:
Recruit, train, and manage IT personnel, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee and maintain computer systems, networks, and related hardware and software.
Project Management:
Plan, implement, and coordinate IT projects, including system updates, migrations, and new technology deployments.
IT Strategy Alignment:
Align IT initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring technology supports organizational goals.
Budget Management:
Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure data security, network access, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Policy Development:
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including security protocols and best practices.
Vendor Management:
Evaluate and negotiate with vendors for hardware, software, and IT services.
System Audits and Optimization:
Conduct regular system audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
Reporting:
Provide regular reports on IT operations, project status, and budget utilization to senior management.
