1. IT Infrastructure Management
. Manage and maintain servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WiFi).
. Oversee Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user account administration.
. Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues before downtime occurs.
. Maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection.
2. Workstation & Hardware Support
. Maintain all desktop/laptop workstations for architects and designers, ensuring optimal performance for CAD/BIM workloads.
. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues (workstations, monitors, plotters, printers, scanners, tablets, etc.).
. Oversee upgrading of machines, GPUs, RAM, SSDs, and other hardware components when needed.
. Manage office equipment (NAS, routers, switches, access points).
3. Software Support & License Management
. Install, configure, and maintain architecture-specific applications:
. AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, SketchUp, Rhino, ArchiCAD
. Adobe Creative Cloud
. Rendering engines (Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, Twinmotion)
. Ensure all licenses are up-to-date, properly allocated, and compliant.
. Assist users with troubleshooting software issues and performance bottlenecks.
4. Cybersecurity & Data Protection
. Implement and enforce IT security policies in line with PDPA and industry best practices.
. Manage backups (local and cloud), disaster recovery procedures, and regular data audits.
. Monitor network activity to detect suspicious behavior or vulnerabilities.
. Ensure project files, BIM models, and confidential documents are securely stored.
5. Cloud, Email & Collaboration Tools
. Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
. Support cloud storage systems, remote access (VPN), and BIM cloud collaboration tools (BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud).
. Streamline workflows involving file synchronization between office and remote staff.
6. Vendor & Contractor Coordination
. Liaise with external IT vendors for procurement, maintenance, and support.
. Obtain quotes and evaluate cost-effective solutions for hardware/software purchases.
. Oversee implementation of new systems or upgrades.
7. IT Policy, Documentation & Compliance
. Maintain IT asset inventory, network diagrams, passwords (admin-level), and documentation.
. Develop and implement IT policies, including acceptable use, data protection, and backup strategies.
. Ensure compliance with licensing, PDPA, and company IT governance standards.
8. User Support & Training
. Provide timely Level 1/2 support for daily IT issues across all departments.
. Conduct onboarding for new staff: account setup, system access, workstation configuration.
. Train employees on best practices for cybersecurity, file management, and efficient use of software.
Requirements
Technical Qualifications
. Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
. Minimum 3-5 years of IT support experience (architecture or engineering firms preferred).
. Strong knowledge of:
. Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD
. Networking (Cisco/MikroTik/UniFi preferred)
. Microsoft 365 Administration
. Backup & disaster recovery solutions
. Experience with CAD/BIM environments is a major advantage.
Soft Skills
. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
. Able to work independently and make decisions quickly.
. Strong communication skills able to support non-technical users.
. Highly organized, systematic, and reliable.
Additional Advantages (Preferred but Not Mandatory)
. Experience in Revit collaboration environments / BIM360 administration.
. Experience setting up render farms or high-performance workstations.
. Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001 or architectural documentation workflows).
. Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and penetration testing tools.
