Job Description

RoleOverview

We are seekinga proactive and service-oriented IT Assistant to support the company'sday-to-day IT operations. The role involves providing technical support,maintaining IT systems and equipment, coordinating with vendors, and ensuringsmooth operation of hardware, software, and network-related services across theorganization.

KeyResponsibilities

IT Support& Troubleshooting

  • Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and basic network-related issues.
  • Respond promptly to IT service requests and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, POS systems, switches, converters, and related peripherals.
  • Support users on Windows OS, Microsoft applications, and basic enterprise systems.

SystemDeployment & Maintenance

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, and IT equipment.
  • Install and update Windows operating systems, software applications, and necessary drivers.
  • Support and troubleshoot basic web-based and in-house applications.
  • Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.

Vendor &Asset Coordination

  • Coordinate with external vendors on IT equipment procurement, repair, servicing, and maintenance activities.
  • Track and manage IT inventory, including stock control, asset tagging, and replenishment.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for IT assets and service activities.

Documentation& Administration

  • Update and maintain IT Service Request (ITSR) records accurately, ensuring proper follow-up and closure.
  • Assist in maintaining IT operational documentation, user records, and system logs.
  • Support adherence to IT security and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience in setup, deployment, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware, software, and basic networking issues.
  • Strong familiarity with Windows and Microsoft environments.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and enterprise business applications.
  • Basic understanding of IT security concepts, including malware, phishing, and ransomware threats.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

AdditionalInformation

  • 5-day work week (Monday to Friday)
  • Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:15pm OR 8:30am - 5:45pm
  • Monthly mobile allowance provided
  • Staff transport available from Tanah Merah MRT Station
