This is a technical and operational support role for an Assistant IT Manager, responsible for assisting in the management of information technology systems, infrastructure, and daily IT operations. The Assistant IT Manager is responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, networks, and computer systems. A key responsibility of the role is assisting with IT infrastructure management, including servers, network devices, user accounts, data backup systems, and cybersecurity measures. The role also involves supporting IT projects such as system upgrades, software implementation, network improvements, and technology integration initiatives. The Assistant IT Manager collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project tasks are completed according to technical and operational requirements.
In addition, the position includes maintaining IT documentation, monitoring inventory of hardware and software assets, and ensuring compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures. The role may also involve assisting in training employees on system usage, security awareness, and technical best practices.
The Assistant IT Manager supports the IT Manager in coordinating daily operations, prioritizing technical issues, and ensuring efficient delivery of IT services across departments.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple IT tasks in a fast-paced environment.
