The role reports to the IT Software Development and Application Support Manager. The role has management responsibility over the strategies and initiatives for the following IT functions:
Job Responsibilities
1. Execute a mobile first strategy
a. Review the digital capabilities across each of the business domains and work with the
respective business leads to identify and implement new capabilities or enhancements
to the existing capabilities which will support the business strategies.
b. Work with business leads in the prioritization of the business projects.
c. Keep abreast of new advancements in the technology industry and propose or identify opportunities to implement these technologies where it can drive business efficiency or enhance business strategies.
2. Enable Agile practices and support the adoption of agile approaches to work
d. Implement the use of Agile practices to simplify implementation processes while establishing a strong cadence of engagement across the different teams and businesses.
3. Drive and implement digital projects from a Singapore perspective
a. Ensure that requirements and specifications are fit for purpose from a Singapore perspective and aligns with the overall trends in the within industry within Singapore.
b. Look for opportunities which would differentiate HLBS in the use digital and AI capabilities or ensure that HLBS remains competitive
4. Deliver resilient and stable solutions
a. Maintain a high level of IT service quality for both internal & external customers and drive the IT units towards meeting the agreed business SLAs.
b. Establish and maintain the IT processes and controls to ensure enterprise information assets are adequately protected
c. Identify, develop, implement and maintain processes across the Sg Branch to reduce information and information technology risks, and respond timely to events and incidents
