Summary
At ESET, our IT Administrator plays a key role in supporting the I.T. architecture and operations for APAC Headquarters. Reporting to the IT & System Manager, IT administrator will be working to maintain cost efficient IT / Telecommunication support infrastructure to ensure a smooth operation of our APAC Headquarters.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with HQ IT division in maintaining preferred vendor lists, looking for possibilities in being cost efficient
  • Work with local and remote colleague on IT inventory
  • Provide the HQ IT division insights related to yearly IT infrastructure, platform growth expectations through recurrent alignments
  • Troubleshoot problems, configure hardware and software, implement back up processes and assess systems for upgrades or replacement.
  • Bring up IT / IS security breaches, events or vulnerabilities in order to further strengthen IT infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the HQ division on any regional IT specific given by local law or cultural background
  • Maintain On-site IT infrastructure
  • Adapting global policies, document procedures and steps to ensure the smooth operations of the IT Department
  • Provides appropriate user support including remote destination
  • Manage software and hardware inventory within APAC region
  • Enforce standards, policies related to IT, maintaining and managing Office and IT equipment
Job Requirement:
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • In-depth Windows OS knowledge
  • Good understanding on Network
  • Must possess technical support skills on phone and on site, and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails.
  • At least 3 years of IT administration experience
