The Role
This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will partner closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver the organisation's investor relations strategy. You will play a key role in strengthening the company's equity story, driving market engagement, and ensuring high standards of disclosure and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations Strategy & Execution
- Support the development and execution of the Group's investor relations strategy, ensuring consistent, accurate, and high-quality communication with the investment community
- Partner closely with Corporate Communications and Finance teams to align messaging across disclosures and external engagements
- Drive investor outreach initiatives in line with regulatory requirements and disclosure policies, exercising sound judgement on market-sensitive matters
Market & Investor Engagement
- Serve as a key point of contact for institutional investors, analysts, shareholders, ESG agencies, and proxy advisers
- Plan and execute investor engagements including results briefings, roadshows, conferences, and site visits alongside senior management
- Maintain structured engagement records to support relationship management and market insights
- Represent the organisation in selected investor and analyst interactions where appropriate
Financial Communications & Market Intelligence
- Coordinate quarterly results, announcements, and market updates in collaboration with Finance and key stakeholders
- Develop investor materials including presentations, briefing decks, and Q&A documents
- Conduct peer benchmarking, valuation analysis, and review analyst reports and consensus forecasts
- Analyse investor feedback, market sentiment, and shareholding trends, translating insights into actionable recommendations for management
- Build a strong understanding of business fundamentals, valuation drivers, and competitive positioning
Reporting & Shareholder Management
- Manage key IR materials and platforms including annual reports, investor presentations, and IR website
- Support AGM preparation including materials development and shareholder engagement
- Oversee shareholder analysis and maintain an up-to-date investor database
Governance & Best Practices
- Ensure compliance with SGX disclosure requirements and corporate governance standards
- Drive adoption of IR best practices, including leveraging data and digital tools for investor targeting, sentiment analysis, and workflow optimisation
- Maintain a robust internal knowledge base on investor insights, governance matters, and regulatory developments
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university
- 6 – 8 years of relevant experience in investor relations, corporate communications, financial communications, or capital markets
- Minimally 2 years experience in a SGX-listed or regulated environment, with direct exposure to Investor Relations
- Proven experience engaging institutional investors and sell-side analysts
- Background in IR/PR advisory or financial communications is advantageous
Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret financial statements and engage confidently with sophisticated investors
- Solid understanding of valuation methodologies, capital markets, and investor dynamics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market data into meaningful insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement in handling sensitive information
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with IR platforms, digital tools, and website management is a plus
