Role Description

The Associate/Analyst in the Capital Solutions Group supports senior bankers in executing complex financial transactions, including debt and equity offerings, structured finance solutions, and M&A advisory. The role involves performing financial analysis, building detailed models, conducting market and industry research, and preparing client presentations and internal materials.

Key responsibilities include assisting in due diligence, evaluating transaction structures, tracking deal progress, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting client communications. The Associate/Analyst will collaborate closely with team members across regions to ensure accurate and timely deliverables while contributing insights to support strategic decision-making. The position provides exposure to high-level financial analysis, capital markets transactions, and cross-border deals, offering a strong foundation for career progression in investment banking.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
• 16 years of relevant internship or professional experience in investment banking, corporate finance, structured finance, or consulting.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and leveraged finance modeling.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, capital markets, and transaction structures.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing client-ready reports and presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with intellectual curiosity and proactive approach.
• High ethical standards and professionalism in handling confidential client information.
• Fluency in English; additional regional languages (e.g., Mandarin or Cantonese) are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Masters in Finance) from a top-tier institution.
• Progress toward or completion of CFA designation.
• Experience in structured finance, debt capital markets, or cross-border transactions.
• Familiarity with financial databases and tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or FactSet.
• Strong presentation skills for executive-level discussions.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and contribute to strategic deal execution.
