Role Description
The Investment Banking Analyst will support senior bankers in executing client transactions, conducting financial analysis, and preparing materials for advisory and financing mandates. This role provides hands-on experience in deal execution, financial modeling, market research, and client presentations, offering exposure to a wide range of industries and transaction types.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining financial models for valuation, transaction structuring, and scenario analysis.
- Conducting industry and company research to support investment theses and client recommendations.
- Preparing pitch books, presentations, and transaction documentation for clients and internal committees.
- Performing due diligence, analyzing financial statements, and assessing operational and strategic performance.
- Supporting the execution of mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring transactions.
- Monitoring financial markets and industry trends to inform advisory strategies.
- Collaborating with senior team members to draft investment memoranda and client materials.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data, documentation, and reporting in all transaction processes.
- Contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives and process improvements within the team.
- Managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field; advanced degree or CFA designation is advantageous.
- 16 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance; internships are highly valued.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ).
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, financial statements, and capital markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities.
