Role Description
The Investment Banking Analyst supports deal execution and financial advisory services by conducting financial analysis, modeling, and market research. The analyst works closely with senior bankers to evaluate transactions, prepare client presentations, and provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions. This role is critical in supporting mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other investment banking activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and analysis for potential transactions.
- Prepare pitch books, presentations, and client reports.
- Research market trends, industries, and comparable companies.
- Assist in due diligence and deal structuring processes.
- Support senior bankers in executing mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising deals.
- Maintain accurate records of analyses and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; advanced degrees or CFA preferred.
- 16 years of experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or related fields.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work under pressure.
