My client are a global venture capital firm investing at the earliest stages in crypto, blockchain, and frontier technologies such as AI, robotics, and hardware.
They are expanding their presence in Asia Pacific and seeking an Investment Analyst to join the team in Singapore. You will directly work with the Investment Partner in Singapore, playing a key role at the intersection of technology and venture investing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support technical due diligence by sitting in on founder meetings and helping assess technologies across crypto, AI, robotics, and hardware.
- Conduct research and deep dives into emerging technologies and industry trends; distill insights into theses and content for the team.
- Collaborate with the Asia team to evaluate opportunities, prepare analyses, and contribute to investment recommendations.
- Provide research and analytical support to portfolio companies post-investment.
- Build networks across the Asia crypto and frontier tech ecosystem to help surface differentiated, proprietary deal flow.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, technology, research, venture, or related fields.
- Strong technical foundation ideally a degree in computer science, engineering, applied math, or a related quantitative field.
- Personal or professional involvement in crypto/web3 (e.g., on-chain activity, technical projects, research, or investing).
- Ability to bridge technical depth with commercial judgment not just understanding how something works, but whether it matters.
- Strong communication skills; able to synthesize complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
- Mandarin fluency is a plus (to support on deals across Greater China).
- Must be Singapore-based or open to relocating.
