My client is a tier 1 international venture capital fund that has backed some of the most transformative companies across Asia. Building on the success of the fund, they are continuing to expand the team to support the next generation of founders.
They are hiring an Analyst to join the Investment team. In this 360 role, you will play a critical part in sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments across Southeast Asia, while also working closely with founders post-investment as they scale their companies.
What Youll Do
- Source, evaluate, and execute investments across generalist technology sectors in SEA, with a focus on SaaS, enterprise software, and AI.
- Conduct market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to build conviction on opportunities.
- Contribute to investment theses and perspectives on industry trends.
- Build and maintain a strong network across the tech and startup ecosystem to support deal flow.
- Work with portfolio companies post-investment, acting as a strategic thought partner to founders.
- Be an internal champion for the opportunities you source or help diligence.
What Were Looking For
- 18 months to 3 years of professional experience in a top-tier environment (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, VC/PE, or at a well-reputed high-growth tech startup whether in corporate strategy, corporate development, or a product manager capacity).
- A top-tier educational track record (strong academic performance at leading global or regional universities).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to form independent views on markets and companies.
- Fluency in Mandarin preferred to help expand coverage in China, including deal sourcing and founder engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: entrepreneurial, proactive, and able to build strong relationships with founders.
- Genuine interest in technology, startups, and the venture ecosystem.
- Collaborative mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
