Responsibilities

Reporting to the head of the investment team, the primary role of the Investment Analyst is to provide support for investment management activities at the family office. Key responsibilities are:

• Assist head of investment team to monitor and make changes to the current strategic asset allocations as appropriate
• Research on the emerging investment themes to allocate new capital
• Due diligence new asset managers and investment products
• Monitor the performance exposure, tactical asset allocation, and performance of existing investments
• Generate periodic reports and presentations for discussion with principals

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a bank (investment investment division, alternative fund selection or investment advisory), asset management firm or corporate finance or family office (single or multi). 
• Be numerate; have high proficiency in use of EXCEL software and other computer-based analytical tools (eg. Bloomberg Terminal)
• Have financial modeling experience
• Have a good understanding of financial and investment concepts such as capital markets, asset classes, portfolio management processes, risk-adjusted returns, discretionary vs. advisory investment services, etc.
• Able to communicate effectively with others in oral and written formats.
