Job Summary
This internship offers hands-on experience in business and management operations within an engineering SME. Interns will support management and project teams in operational coordination, financial tracking, and commercial processes, gaining real-world responsibility and exposure to live customer engagements. Candidate must be comfortable working in a digitalized ERP setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist management in coordinating daily business operations to ensure smooth workflow and project execution
- Track financial data including cost summaries, invoicing support, and internal reporting to maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare management presentations, reports, and business documents to support decision-making and communication
- Coordinate with vendors and manage customer submissions and internal documentation control to facilitate project progress
- Support tender preparation by compiling documents and conducting compliance checks to meet regulatory requirements
- Participate in business process improvement and digitalisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Perform ad hoc operational and administrative tasks assigned by management to support business needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to use digital systems effectively for financial tracking and presentation preparation, in a fully digitalized ERP environment.
- Strong attention to detail with structured and logical thinking to ensure accuracy and quality in tasks
- Professional attitude with the ability to handle confidential business information responsibly
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Undergraduate or diploma student in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and operate effectively in a fast-paced working environment
- Recent graduates will also be considered
