International Procurement Specialist (IT Industry)

We are seeking an experienced ..international procurement and supply chain professional specializing in IT hardware, software, and cloud computing procurement. You will be responsible for optimizing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations to support the company's global business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Execution & Cost Optimization

- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for IT hardware (servers, networking equipment), software (SAAS/licenses), and cloud services.

- Achieve annual cost-saving targets through negotiation, price benchmarking, and supplier consolidation.

- Familiarity with INCOTERMS 2020 to optimize logistics and customs costs (e.g., DDP/DAP terms).

2. Supplier Development & Management

- Identify and maintain partnerships with high-quality suppliers in the Singapore, US,Japan, and so on.

- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations (QCDS: Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service) and phase out underperforming vendors.

3. Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure procurement activities comply with international trade regulations (e.g., US EAR export controls).

- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions (e.g., chip shortages, logistics delays).

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with R&D, finance, and legal teams to align procurement with business objectives.

- Manage purchase orders (POs) and contracts to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

- Generate procurement analytics and support management decisions

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Finance, Law, or related fields preferred.

- 1+ years of international procurement, or finance, or legal experience.

- Strong communication skills (eg, English, Chinese or japanese)(able to handle contracts and negotiations independently)

- Proficient in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).

Preferred Skills (Advantageous)

- Experience working with contractors overseas.

- Knowledge of cloud computing or data center hardware procurement.

- Willingness to travel internationally for supplier audits or industry events.

- Business-level Japanese (may increase salary by 10%-20%).

Compensation & Benefits

- Annual Salary Range: SGD 40,000-75,000 (negotiable based on experience and language skills).
