Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Documentation Verification & Compliance
- Assist in verifying maintenance-related documentation, including Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) reports.
- Cross-check submitted reports against approved templates, checklists, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and properly recorded before submission.
- Verify contractors completion reports and ensure timely submission in accordance with project requirements.
- Maintain and organise proper filing systems (digital and/or hardcopy) for efficient document retrieval and audit readiness.
- Maintenance Support (Site Activities)
- Assist in carrying out Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Support Corrective Maintenance (CM) works, including basic troubleshooting, fault identification, and rectification.
- Assist in Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for newly installed or rectified systems.
- Support engineers and technicians during site inspections and maintenance works.
- Equipment Inspection
- Assist in inspection and basic assessment of:
- Solar PV systems (modules/panels, inverters, AC Distribution Boards (ACDBs), isolators)
- Electrical switchboards and associated components
- Record inspection findings accurately and report any abnormalities to the supervising engineer.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering or solar PV systems (preferred).
- Willingness to work at heights and in outdoor site environments.
- Comfortable with hands-on activities, including working in hot weather conditions.
- Strong learning attitude with good problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, especially in documenting and reporting technical data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Good communication skills and a team player mindset.
