Job Summary
Join APS as a Marketing and Communications Intern to support and execute strategies that raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and increase enrolment through creative content, social media management, and event promotion.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with APS's mission and goals
- Create compelling and informative content for websites, social media, and blogs that reflect APS's values and unique selling points
- Manage and maintain APS's social media accounts by developing engaging content, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement metrics to optimize online presence
- Design visually appealing graphics, photographs, and videos for marketing campaigns, online platforms, and events
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance and communication efforts, providing regular reports and actionable insights
- Assist in promoting events to achieve successful outcomes based on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure marketing efforts align with core business objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field
- Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail and ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in content creation, social media strategy, and relevant marketing platforms to drive engagement
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Self-driven and strategic thinker capable of managing projects independently and contributing in team settings
- Experience in shooting and editing photos/videos using tools such as Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite, or Final Cut Pro
- Graphic design experience and proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Genuine passion for education, community engagement, and non-profit missions
