Key Roles And Responsibilities

The Intern, Business Development in New Markets will support the investment and business development team in evaluating new opportunities across India, Malaysia, and Thailand. This role offers hands-on exposure to market analysis, financial modelling, and management reporting, with close guidance from experienced mentors and senior team members.

• Assist in market and sector analysis for new geographies, including macroeconomic trends, regulatory frameworks, competitive landscapes, and demand drivers
• Support the preparation of investment screening materials, concept notes, and opportunity assessment decks
• Contribute to the development and review of financial models, including sensitivity analysis and scenario assessments, under mentorship
• Assist in preparing management reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal review and decision-making
• Support due diligence activities by coordinating information gathering, benchmarking, and data analysis
• Track industry developments, infrastructure projects, and policy changes relevant to Sembcorp Urban's expansion strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, legal, and finance, to support project evaluation
  
  

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Background in Real Estate, Business Management or equivalent
