Job Summary
You will lead client engagements and manage interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations and delivering high-quality, functional, and aesthetic renovation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, budget constraints, and design preferences to develop tailored interior design solutions
- Conduct site visits and perform precise measurements to evaluate space layouts for optimal design planning
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and 3D drawings to visually communicate ideas and proposals
- Prepare detailed and accurate CAD drawings and comprehensive design documentation to support project execution
- Source and coordinate procurement of materials, furniture, and fixtures with suppliers to meet project specifications
- Prepare clear and accurate quotations and invoices, ensuring transparent communication of project costs to clients
- Manage project timelines proactively to prevent delays and ensure smooth renovation progress
- Coordinate effectively with contractors and various trades to facilitate seamless renovation workflows
- Organize, submit, and maintain all necessary paperwork including quotations, permits, invoices, MCST forms, and HDB forms in compliance with regulations
- Apply thorough knowledge of Singapore renovation regulations to ensure all projects meet legal requirements
- Address client feedback and complaints professionally to maintain high client satisfaction
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with clients until project completion to ensure expectations are met
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within a team to achieve project goals
- Uphold integrity and professionalism in all submissions, communications, and work processes
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent design software to produce precise design drawings
- Strong understanding of Singapore renovation regulations to ensure compliance throughout projects
