We are seeking a creative and experienced Interior Design Manager to lead our design projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will oversee design teams, manage project timelines, liaise with clients, and ensure smooth project delivery. You will play a key role in design development, space planning, material selection, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design team in planning, developing, and executing interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Manage full project lifecycle including conceptual design, 3D rendering, material selection, and final presentation.
- Communicate with clients to understand requirements, propose design solutions, and provide professional advice.
- Prepare layout drawings, detail drawings, mood boards and material boards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design specifications are followed.
- Review project budgets, costing, and work schedules.
- Ensure all delivered work meets quality, safety standards, and company requirements.
- Mentor junior designers and oversee their work output.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably in both residential and commercial settings.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating space planning, conceptual design, and project management skills.
- Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and current design trends.
- Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
- Able to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of Singapore renovation regulations (HDB, BCA, Fire Safety guidelines) is an advantage.
