This role focuses on managing and servicing a portfolio of General Insurance clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of General Insurance (Commercial & Personal Lines, including Employee Benefits) clients, to ensure timely renewals and accurate policy issuance.
- Employee Benefits experience will be an advantage.
- Understand clients needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions, ensuring efficient servicing and client satisfaction.
- Source and negotiate competitive quotations and terms with insurers to secure optimal coverage.
- Oversee renewals, endorsements, claims, and policy documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong and professional relationships with clients and insurers.
- Manage and follow up on insurance claims promptly to ensure smooth resolution.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to support business growth.
- Keep client and policy records updated and assist in management reporting.
Requirements
- Diploma in a related field with Certificate in General Insurance (PGI, BCP, ComGI) and/or Health Insurance certificates.
- At least 3 years experience in General Insurance broking.
- Solid understanding of General Insurance products for both personal and corporate clients.
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, initiative, and analytical ability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- M5 & M9 certificates and MAS FA representative status will be an advantage.
- Open to Singaporeans, Permanent Residents, and Malaysians.
