We are looking for an Institutional Business Development Manager to join the team and drive the growth of institutional partnerships. You will be focused on identifying, engaging and onboarding high-value institutional clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and source for liquidity of Products on the Gate Platform.
- Work with internal teams (eg.Legal & Compliance)to onboard institutional trading clients/partners (Market Maker / Broker / HFT / Asset Managers) and work alongside a Key Account Manager (KAM) to create successful long-term relationships.
- Drive client acquisition, new user growth, and business development activities.
- Work closely with the product and marketing functions to identify areas of growth and execute growth plans
- Proactively monitor the competitor landscape and work with the product and marketing teams to iterate the overall strategy.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a business development role focusing on product and sales.
- Prior experience in a crypto exchange, investment firm, institutional brokerage, or electronic trading firm.
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- A resourceful self-starter and tenacious problem-solver, willing to roll up one's sleeves to meet client needs and improve client experience.
- Passionate about the crypto/fintech industry, interested and willing to dive into B2B business.
- Detail-oriented, results-focused individual who can work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills. English is required, Mandarin would be a strong plus.
