This is an opportunity to join a global MNC as an
Infrastructure Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT infrastructure initiatives. This includes managing project scope, resources, risks, timelines, and stakeholder communication to ensure outcomes align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning:
- Define scope and deliverables; develop detailed timelines, budget forecasts, and resource plans.
Execution & Delivery
- Lead project implementation activities, coordinate across IT and business teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure continuity through contingency planning.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external vendors; regularly report progress and manage expectations.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure that infrastructure deliverables meet technical and business standards; work closely with QA teams for reviews and validation.
Project Closure
- Lead final project handover, ensure documentation is complete, and conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.
Key Metrics for Success
- Timely and within-budget delivery of infrastructure projects
- Positive feedback from stakeholders (e.g. NPS scores)
- Risk issues resolved with minimal disruption
- Evidence of continuous improvement in project management processes
Internal & External Collaboration
- Internal: Work closely with IT, Finance, and Business teams
- External: Engage with technology vendors and stay informed on infrastructure best practices
Requirements
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred
Experience & Skills
- 57 years in IT project management
- Proven experience managing infrastructure projects (e.g. network, cloud, endpoint, identity services)
- Strong risk management, stakeholder communication, and vendor coordination experience
- Proficient in tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar
