Information Technology Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide the necessary data support.
• Support the integration of data from different sources into Hadoop and other data storage solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Document data processes, workflows, and data models to maintain clear communication within the team.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and big data.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge in SQL, ETL Teradata, Python and experience with writing queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem components (e.g., HDFS, Ozone, Hive, iceberg, etc.).
• Knowledge of data modelling concepts and best practices.
• Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, FSLDM, Teradata and tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
