Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and implementation of data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide the necessary data support.
Support the integration of data from different sources into Hadoop and other data storage solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure data quality and reliability.
Document data processes, workflows, and data models to maintain clear communication within the team.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and big data.

Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge in SQL, ETL Teradata, Python and experience with writing queries for data extraction and manipulation.
Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem components (e.g., HDFS, Ozone, Hive, iceberg, etc.).
Knowledge of data modelling concepts and best practices.
Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, FSLDM, Teradata and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
