Position Overview
We are seeking a talented ICT Support & Training Specialist to join our education initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in empowering students and educators through cutting-edge technology, mentoring in emerging digital skills, and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Computing & CCA Training
- Design & deliver structured computing programmes in:Coding & Robotics: Swift Playgrounds, Scratch, Micro:bit, Makecode ArcadeApp Development: Thunkable, GameSalad3D Design & Printing: Tinkercad, SketchUpDigital Graphics: Inkscape
- Lead learning initiatives on iPad-based personalized learning and modern Learning Management Systems (Student Learning Space, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple Classroom)
- Champion EdTech adoption with hands-on training in gamification, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR)
- Maintain & optimize IT infrastructure to support seamless programme delivery
Audiovisual Systems & Digital Media Production
- Support & mentor students in AV training and video production techniques
- Manage live streaming of school events using professional tools (OBS)
- Produce & edit high-quality video content (Final Cut Pro) for school communications
- Oversee the Recording Studio, encouraging student creativity and technical exploration
- Maintain school PA systems to ensure reliable event support
Makerspace Leadership
- Develop & facilitate makerspace workshops that inspire tinkering, prototyping, and hands-on learning
- Guide students in safely and creatively using maker tools and equipment
- Foster a culture of innovation where exploration and experimentation thrive
Educational Partnerships & Professional Development
- Conduct IT training workshops for educators, enabling them to integrate EdTech into their teaching
- Co-teach Project Work using the Design Thinking framework, bridging computational thinking with creative problem-solving
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HOD ICT, ICT Manager, and school leadership on strategic initiatives
