A professional cleaning/laundry company is seeking a meticulous and proactive HR Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the full spectrum of HR functions, with a strong focus on payroll administration, employee relations, and compliance with the Singapore Employment Act.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll & HRIS.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing using Infotech payroll software.
- Ensure accuracy in salary computation, statutory contributions (CPF, SDL, SHG), and IRAS/Year-End filings.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Responsible for employee relations & compliance
- Draft and issue HR documents such as employment contracts, warning letters, termination letters, and other correspondence in accordance with the Singapore Employment Act.
- Provide HR advisory to management and employees on statutory requirements, internal policies, and best practices.
- Handle grievance, disciplinary, and performance management processes in a fair and timely manner.
- Monitor and arrange cleaners for courses to improve professionalism.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes (job postings, interviews, employment offers).
- Manage leave administration, medical claims, insurance, and employee benefits.
- Prepare HR reports, statistics, and ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
- Assist in HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and policy reviews.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant HR experience.
- Hands-on experience with Infotech payroll software preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and HR compliance practices.
- Proficient in drafting formal HR correspondence (warning/termination letters, memos, contracts).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels, including manual workers who communicate primarily in Chinese.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive issues professionally.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
