The role is responsible for the overall People Strategy and Human Resource function across all our locations in the South East Asia region (Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines).

The incumbent is responsible for all HR activities including the implementation of the Human Capital strategy which captures:

  • Talent acquisition
  • Talent management
  • Succession planning
  • Performance management
  • Compensation and benefits and finalising staff cost budgets
  • Employee engagement
  • Workforce planning
  • Learning and development initiatives that includes developing career paths for employees

The incumbent should be able to develop competitive employee retention strategies and should have comprehensive knowledge and solid experience of dealing with employee relations.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Business Partner

  • Drive the overall people strategy, collaborating with stakeholders internally and externally at all levels to achieve outcomes in line with the overall organisational strategy across different functional areas
  • Be a change agent in driving an inclusive culture in the organisation

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Motivate and retain a high quality team to achieve desired productivity and standards
  • Build a performance-enabling culture and provide guidance for the team to excel

Governance

  • Ensuring Human Resource processes are compliant with local regulations
  • Ensure Human Resources and office administration operations are operating in line with legislative requirements and are compliant with the group policies and philosophy in order to safeguard the company from potential legal, regulatory and repetitional risks
  • Review, recommend and implement changes of HR Policies and procedures and practices to ensure it aligns with market practices, legal and regulatory requirements and Group policies

Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Plan and organise learning and skill development programs for SEA employees.
  • Conduct training needs analysis based on business and employee requirements.
  • Design and implement annual L&D plans and training calendars.

Global HR Collaboration & Project Management

  • Maintain relationships with global HR partners to implement global initiatives.
  • Support global HR projects by aligning them with local business needs.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and/or post-graduate degree
  • At least 6-10 years experience working in the service sector (preferably real estate industry) in HR
  • Experience working in a multinational environment is preferable
  • A high level of confidence in day to day working and presentation to EXCO
  • Ability to operate autonomously in an ambiguous environment
  • Familiar with local Labor Laws & local compliance; experience of engaging with labour departments is an additional advantage
  • Experience of managing any HRIS system (SuccessFactors/ Workday/ any other)
  • Business Acumen
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge across technical HR functional areas
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Fluency in English and any SEA country language essential
