About the Company

Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of hyperpure silicon wafers and a trusted partner to major semiconductor companies globally.

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead the Compensation & Benefits and Training & Development functions.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

  • Ensure full compliance with Singapore employment laws, statutory regulations (e.g. MOM) and HQ requirements.
  • Benchmark and maintain competitive compensation structures within the manufacturing and semiconductor industries.
  • Lead the annual performance appraisal and merit increment cycle, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Review and propose competitive salary adjustments, promotions and upgrades.
  • Develop bonus planning proposals and oversee payout administration in accordance with approved guidelines and budgets.
  • Drive and participate in annual manpower and HR budgeting exercises.
  • Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes impacting compensation and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and documentation related to C&B.
  • Serve as liaison for HRI and HRMC matters.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and HR transformation projects.

Training & Development

  • Guide and support the HR Administrator on training and development matters.
  • Identify organizational training needs and implement development strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct training needs analysis using competency frameworks.
  • Source and recommend relevant learning programs.
  • Act as an internal consultant to design and facilitate effective learning and development solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience, preferably within a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, HR best practices, compensation analysis, and training & development functions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous, adaptable and positive with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) compliance is an advantage.
