Job Description
We are seeking an organised and hands-on HR Generalist to support the full spectrum of HR operations within our growing F&B group. This role will manage day-to-day HR activities, ensuring smooth employee experience and compliance with Singapore employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage end-to-end onboarding process, prepare offer letters, employment contracts, staff personal file, uniform & locker assignment, Info-Tech system setup, and orientation briefing.
- Handle offboarding matters including exit interviews, clearance forms, final payment computation, and return of company property.
- Maintain complete and accurate employee records in HR system and personnel files.
2. Work Pass & MOM Matters
- Manage applications, renewals, and cancellations of Employment Passes, S Passes, and Work Permits through EP Online.
- Monitor quota availability and maintain compliance with MOM regulations.
- Liaise with agencies or MOM on pass-related appeals and documentation.
3. HR Operations & Documentation
- Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters, contract renewals, and LOAs (Letter of Appointment / Amendment / Incentive / Warning, etc.).
- Maintain and update HR databases (Info-Tech or similar) for employee information, attendance, and leave.
- Handle insurance enrollment, medical claims, and staff benefits administration.
4. Leave & Attendance Management
- Ensure proper recording of leave applications (Annual, Sick, Unpaid, etc.) and MC submissions.
- Track absenteeism, verify medical certificates, and ensure policy compliance.
5. Performance Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and compile appraisal results.
- Support HR Manager in salary review and increment proposals.
6. Employee Engagement & Relations
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse turnover reasons to propose retention strategies.
- Support HR events and staff engagement initiatives (team building, festive gatherings, etc.).
- Handle employee grievances or disciplinary issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
7. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Singapore labour laws and company policies.
- Prepare HR reports for management (headcount, turnover, leave reports, etc.).
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations.
- Proficient in HRMS
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills.
