Job Description

What The Role Is

You will be part of the HR shared service team providing operational support for HDB's medical, dental and insurance benefits administration, ensuring accurate processing of claims, maintaining compliance with policies, and delivering efficient service to staff.

What You Will Be Working On

You will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Process medical and dental claims including outpatient, hospitalisation, and day surgery claims, ensuring accurate verification of receipts and supporting documents against claims guidelines and the timely processing of claims
  • Handle staff enquiries regarding medical benefits, claims procedures, and policy clarifications.
  • Participate in the digital transformation initiative for new e-pfile system development including framework design for document categorisation, access rights matrix, retention policies, and security protocols, ensuring comprehensive digital transformation of personnel records management

  • Support the development of personnel file management operations including policy on document retention period, physical P-file administration, off-site storage coordination, and retrieval services

  • Involve in the Staff Identity Card (SIC) operations including database management, access control administration, and card issuance processes, ensuring zero backlog in requests and maintaining accuracy in access permissions. This includes leading the digital transformation initiatives including workflow automation for card/access approvals and working with office building administrator for facial recognition technology integration.

  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement including SIC consumables inventory, system servicing, and contract management for storage facilities

What We Are Looking For


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in employee benefit administration, claim processing or electronic p-file system development in Public Sector
  • Competent in using Microsoft Excel to perform claim administration
  • Attention to details and highly logical with strong analytical skills
  • Team player and able to work well with internal and external stakeholders
