Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Business Analyst to support and enhance enterprise HR technology platforms within a banking and financial services environment.

This role will focus on optimizing HR systems, driving digital transformation initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving HR operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing HRIS platforms, system integrations, data governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement within regulated financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end analysis, design, implementation, and enhancement of HRIS solutions and related HR technology initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable HRIS and process improvement solutions.
  • Support HRIS implementations, system upgrades, migrations, and integrations with payroll, benefits, finance, and compliance systems.
  • Ensure HRIS platforms comply with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and internal governance policies.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity, system security, and operational stability across HR platforms.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, payroll, compliance, and business stakeholders to optimize HR technology processes and workflows.
  • Develop and deliver HR analytics, dashboards, and reports to support workforce planning, compensation analysis, and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, issue resolution, and release management activities.
  • Provide user training, process documentation, and operational support for HRIS users and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with external vendors and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and implement enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement across HR operations.
  • Stay updated on emerging HR technology trends, compliance standards, and regulatory changes impacting the banking and finance sector.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with enterprise HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Good understanding of HR operations, payroll processes, workforce management, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing HRIS implementations, upgrades, integrations, and transformation projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements.
  • Experience in HR data governance, reporting, data validation, and audit readiness.
  • Good understanding of regulatory compliance, data privacy, and risk management within financial services environments.
  • Hands-on experience with user requirement gathering, documentation, testing, and training activities.
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations involving payroll, benefits, finance, and compliance systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and HR analytics.
  • Strong project coordination and process improvement capabilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Workday implementation or enhancement projects.
  • Exposure to banking or regulated financial services environments.
  • Familiarity with SOX, GDPR, audit controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of automation and digital HR transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting regional or global HR operations.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of HRIS experience with progressive responsibility.
  • At least 3 years of experience within banking or financial services environments.
  • Proven track record managing complex HRIS projects, integrations, and operational improvements.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale HR technology environments and multi-stakeholder projects.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced qualifications or certifications will be an added advantage.
