This role is responsible for overseeing all HR functions, ensuring compliance with Singapore employment laws, and supporting employee growth and organizational culture. Responsibilities as follows:
Compliance & Legal:
- Ensure adherence to all local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and labour law changes.
Recruitment & Administration:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from identifying staffing needs, job posting, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
- Handle staff offboarding processes.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal processes.
- Assist line managers in setting employee performance goals and reviewing progress. Support line managers in staff compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compensation packages are competitive and compliant with Singapore regulations and market benchmarks.
Training & Development:
- Coordinate employee training and professional development programs.
- Maintain training records and monitor minimal CPD hours completion, if applicable.
- Support staff in accessing training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Others:
- Owner of the HR system for the Singapore office.
- Train and engage staff in using the system.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and resolve conflicts or issues.
- Promote a positive work environment and culture by organizing team-building activities and maintaining open communication.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Strong understanding of Singapore employment laws and regulations.
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD). Experience in handling HR functions in a multinational environment.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office Suite.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience in a similar industry
