This position will be reporting to the Assistant HR Manager/HR Director, this position supports the HR functions and is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment activities for hiring positions and HR administrative duties, including onboarding/offboarding formalities, staff engagement, and staff orientation. Ensure a solid cadence of communication with department managers and hiring managers to provide effective HR support and solutions for sourcing suitable candidates and building pipelines.
Job Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Engage and maintain close working relationships with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and fulfill hiring requirements.
- Use the most efficient, cost-effective candidate sources to fill positions, including, but not limited to, searches and postings on various career posting websites such as LinkedIn, referrals, participation in job fairs and industry conferences/users groups, direct sourcing, and other network referrals.
- Identify and utilize recruitment channels, social media, and other creative tools to source candidates and build a sustainable manpower pipeline.
- Manage the recruitment process, including requisition management, candidate sourcing, selection, interview, offer management, and other pre-hiring activities.
- Cultivate a close working relationship with hiring managers through the vacancy lifecycle.
- Monitor the effective utilization of the allocated recruitment budget.
- Conduct background checks on job applicants to identify any critical issues.
- Prepare reports on recruitment activities and recruitment cost allocation.
- Coordinate with recruitment and operations teams on manpower movement, contract renewal, confirmation, transfer, promotion, re-employment, resignation/termination, etc., along with respective administration.
- Perform reference checks for candidates.
HR Administration
- Documentation preparation for onboarding and offboarding.
- Administer Work Pass & PLRD applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Conduct new employee onboarding and training.
- Conduct exit interviews and clearance for leavers.
- Handle and conduct case inquiry and investigation.
- Involve and provide support on HR initiatives/projects to meet the Organizational goals.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reports, including HR reports and meeting-related materials.
- Provide responses to employees inquiries on HR-related matters.
- Carry out HR activities in accordance with internal SOPs and statutory compliances.
- Handle the employees grievances and complaints. Attend to the employee's Disciplinary grievances issues and coordinate with all concerned parties to ensure clean closure.
- Participate in progressive HR or cross-functional process improvement projects & initiatives.
- Support in yearly SACE, ISO, and internal/external audits.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- With 3 to 5 years of experience as a recruiting specialist in end-to-end recruitment.
- Experience working in the Security industry would be advantageous.
- Possess a high energy level and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the full lifecycle recruitment process and talent acquisition.
- Confident, result-orientated, take initiative, and able to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of people.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under a tight deadline.
- High team spirit and commitment, systematic and target-oriented working style.
- Must possess a high level of integrity and a positive working attitude.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
