Job Description

Job Summary

You will lead the end-to-end hiring process, ensuring effective recruitment, selection, and screening of staff to support organizational growth. Manage employee contract and permit lifecycle to maintain workforce compliance. Drive HR operations by maintaining accurate personnel records, preparing insightful monthly HR reports, and administering staff benefits to enhance employee experience. Ensure HR policies and processes comply with statutory requirements and coordinate work pass medical examinations and processing. Facilitate training applications and grants to support employee development. Oversee submission of government surveys and mandatory documentation to uphold regulatory compliance. Provide general HR and administrative support to enable smooth organizational functioning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment, selection, and screening processes to attract and onboard qualified staff aligned with business needs
  • Monitor employee contract expiries, work permit expiries, and confirmation due dates to ensure timely renewals and compliance
  • Maintain and update comprehensive staff personal files to support accurate HR records management
  • Prepare and deliver monthly HR reports that provide actionable insights for management decision-making
  • Review and enforce HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organizational standards
  • Administer staff benefits including leave records, insurance claims, and medical claims to support employee welfare
  • Coordinate and arrange work pass medical examinations and manage the processing and collection of work passes to meet regulatory deadlines
  • Process training applications and manage filing for training grants to facilitate employee skill development
  • Handle employee insurance claims efficiently to ensure timely resolution
  • Compile monthly relief staff timesheets accurately for payroll processing to support payroll accuracy
  • Manage submission of government-required surveys and mandatory documentation to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Perform general HR functions and provide administrative support as assigned to contribute to overall HR effectiveness

Required competencies and certifications

  • Knowledge of Employment Act and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations to ensure legal compliance in HR operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR generalist demonstrating broad HR operational expertise
  • Self-starter with resourcefulness and tact, capable of interacting effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
