Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to manage a broad range of human resources functions. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development processes. This role requires a meticulous professional with a strong understanding of labor laws and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including crafting job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, performing reference checks, and generating employment contracts.
- Facilitate a comprehensive onboarding experience for new hires, overseeing orientation programs and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Performance Management
- Support the implementation and administration of the performance appraisal system.
- Proactively manage the monthly employee confirmation process, ensuring timely completion of appraisals by supervisors.
- Assist the HR Manager in preparing for and executing the annual performance review and salary increment cycle.
HR Administration
- Maintain precise and current employee records.
- Administer the monthly payroll process, including the collection and verification of timesheets, tracking of leave, overtime, and other adjustments.
- Administer mandatory employee medical check-ups and manage the processing of insurance claims.
Offboarding
- Oversee the end-to-end offboarding process for all departures (resignations, terminations, ).
- Secure the return of all company assets and coordinate the revocation of system access.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (A Diploma with extensive experience may be considered.)
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a human resources role, with a strong preference for generalist experience.
- Proven experience within the retail industry is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Payroll Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and payroll processing procedures.
- Initiative: A proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure full compliance with labor laws and maintain impeccable records.
