Support the business in areas such as talent acquisition and payroll. You will support the company in achieving its business goals while positioning Alchemist as an employer of choice for talents. Your key customers include the operations and functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Handle recruitment activities including job posting, resume screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
- Assist in conducting interviews and preparing job offers and employment contracts.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Prepare HR documents such as contracts, confirmation letters, and employment-related letters.
- Maintain and update employee records accurately and confidentially.
- Verify timesheets, work rosters, and leave records.
- Assist in payroll processing, including salary and allowance calculations and monthly payroll support.
- Provide general HR support to employees and management.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Experience in F&B industry will be an advantage.
- Experience in both manual and HR systems payroll process (i.e. Talenox and/or Excel).
- Possess strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, MOM, CPF, IRAS, and other relevant statutory legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate well across all levels.
- Adaptable, agile, and able to multi-task.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication, and computer literacy.
- Result-oriented, organized, meticulous with good problem-solving skills, resourceful with high initiative and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- A can-do approach to work and a strong sense of commitment toward work.
- Able to start immediately or on short notice will be an advantage.
