Overview of the Role
The HR Associate Director will play a strategic leadership role in partnering with regional and country leadership teams to shape, drive, and execute the company's people strategy. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with strong stakeholder management skills, deep functional expertise, and demonstrated experience in driving organizational effectiveness.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, overseeing HR operations, rewards strategy, and transformational initiatives to support client's growth and evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Partnership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to regional and country leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, and talent optimization.
- Translate business strategies into actionable HR programs that drive performance, engagement, and growth.
- Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transition and adoption across functions and regions.
2. Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
- Build strong, credible relationships with senior business stakeholders across multiple markets.
- Advise leaders on people-related matters including performance, capability development, leadership effectiveness, and organizational health.
- Influence decisions with data-driven insights and balanced HR judgement.
3. System & Process Improvements
- Lead HR process enhancement initiatives to streamline operations, improve compliance, and strengthen employee experience.
- Drive automation, system upgrades, and digitization efforts to support scalable HR operations.
- Ensure adherence to regional regulatory requirements while maintaining global alignment.
4. Rewards, Benefits & Compensation Management
- Oversee compensation and benefits strategy, ensuring competitive, equitable, and aligned frameworks.
- Partner with leadership to manage annual compensation cycles, benchmarking, and job evaluation processes.
- Provide insights on reward trends, policies, and market practices to support attraction and retention.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 810 years of progressive HR experience, with proven exposure to both strategic HR and hands-on operations.
- Strong background in compensation & benefits, HR system/process optimization, and strategic business partnering.
- Experience working in regional roles or industrial/engineering sectors will be beneficial.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while managing multiple priorities.
