We are a construction company in Singapore seeking a HR & Admin Assistant to support daily HR operations and administrative functions in a foreign worker-heavy environment (100-300 WP holders).
You will assist in work pass administration, attendance tracking, payroll support, and site coordination,ensuring smooth manpower operations across multiple project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Work Permit (WP) applications, renewals, and cancellations via Ministry of Manpower
- Maintain and update worker records (passport, WP expiry, medical, insurance)
- Support onboarding and offboarding of foreign workers
- Track daily attendance and assist in monthly payroll preparation (OT, allowances, deductions)
- Assist in leave management (annual leave, sick leave, no-pay leave)
- Coordinate with site supervisors for manpower deployment and updates
- Support dormitory arrangements and worker welfare administration
- Assist in safety training records (e.g. CSOC)
- Perform general HR & admin duties (filing, data entry, documentation)
- Ensure basic compliance with Employment Act
Requirements
- Minimum N/O Levels, ITE, or Diploma in any field
- 1-2 years of admin or HR experience (construction experience preferred)
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and basic documentation handling
- Experience with foreign workers / WP administration is an advantage
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or labour-intensive industries
- Able to communicate with workers and site teams effectively
- Bilingual (English + Mandarin or other languages preferred)
Salary Range
SGD 2,000 - SGD 3,000 (based on experience)
