Roles & Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Management
- To be able to conduct in-person demonstration and presentation of products to clients and relevant stakeholders
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hospitality and hotel industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners, operators, consultants, designers, contractors, and developers
- Promote the company's hospitality solutions including Hotel Guestroom Management Systems, Electronic Locking Systems, Lighting Control Systems, Energy Management Systems, and related technologies
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, proposal preparation, quotation submission, negotiation, and project closing
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals to clients
- Work closely with internal engineering and project teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and project specifications
- Follow up closely on sales opportunities, project timelines, tender submissions, and commercial negotiations
Account Management & Client Engagement
- Serve as the key point of contact for assigned accounts and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Understand customer operational needs and propose suitable hospitality technology solutions
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, procurement teams, and hotel management during project discussions and implementation stages
- Ensure prompt response to customer enquiries, project updates, and after-sales support coordination
Sales Planning & Market Development
- Develop sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and business growth
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the hospitality industry
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and regular reports for management review
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities within internal systems
- Represent the company at hospitality industry events, exhibitions, networking sessions, and client meetings when required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, Hospitality, IT, Marketing, or related fields
- 1-5 years of relevant sales or business development experience preferred
- Candidates with hospitality, hotel systems, ELV, smart building, or technology solutions experience will have an added advantage
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and hotel project environments preferred
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and close sales opportunities
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and accounts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Able to travel for client meetings and site visits when required
