Roles & Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Site Management
- To be able to coordinate and build mock-up room for proof-of-concept (POC) to clients
- Design and facilitating prototype building for custom solutions towards hospitality projects
- Assist Project Manager in overseeing hospitality and hotel projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate and supervise site activities to ensure works are carried out according to project schedule, technical specifications, and quality standards
- Monitor installation progress for hospitality systems including guestroom management systems, lighting control systems, electronic locking systems, and related solutions
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and project discussions with relevant stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and ensure works are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports for management and clients
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues encountered on site promptly
Technical Coordination & Implementation
- Review technical drawings, layouts, and project specifications to ensure accurate implementation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and technical teams for equipment delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Ensure all installation works are completed according to approved drawings and project requirements
- Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel during project execution
- Assist in system testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and handover activities
- Coordinate rectification works and ensure timely closure of site issues and defects
Project Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain proper documentation of project records, site reports, testing reports, variation orders, and installation progress
- Assist in preparing project schedules, work programs, and resource planning
- Monitor project progress against timeline and escalate delays or issues to management when necessary
- Support project claims, variation orders (VO), and project close-out documentation
- Ensure all project documents are properly filed and updated within the company's internal systems
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Building Services, IT, or related fields
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, site supervision, or engineering works preferred
- Candidates with hospitality, hotel, ELV, smart systems, or building automation experience will have an added advantage
- Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn are welcome to apply
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under tight timelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willing to travel to project sites when required
- Possess Class 3 driving license is an added advantage
