Power and Electromagnetics Engineer
In This Role, You Will
- Design and simulate. Research (through literature reviews and conversations with subject matter experts) on cutting edge technologies in the area of Power and Electromagnetics. Conceptualise designs though modelling and simulations.
- Prototype and Test. Develop prototypes, design test plans and conduct lab/field experiments.
- Troubleshoot and optimise. Optimise the design through successive iterations.
- Innovate. Continuously explore new ideas/solutions to further stretch performance.
- Collaborate. Source and reach out to both local and overseas subject matter experts to foster collaboration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering or related field
- Applicant should be familiar lab equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltage and current probes)
- Applicant with experience in Electromagnetic simulation tools is preferred (e.g. CST, Ansys, COMSOL)
- Applicant with experience in semiconductor switching technology and design is preferred (e.g. MOSFETs, IGBTs, Diodes)
- Be able to work well in a team
- Be able to communicate outcome and ideas/concepts well though writing and presentations
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skill
