Heavy Machine Mechanic

Job descriptions

• Responsible for maintaining smooth machinery operation.
• Conduct inspection and routine maintenance of all heavy equipment/machineries for proper performance.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting of mechanical faults.
• Must be able to read and follow Technical Manuals and Work Instructions accurately for machine workability.
• Perform repairs to faulty equipment parts.
• Cleaning, lubricating and servicing of all machine mechanical parts for smooth machine operation.
• Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management.
• Minimizing downtime, addressing issues promptly and supporting installations and repairs to maintain overall equipment efficiency and ensure workplace safety of machinery not limited to the following:-

a) Crawler Crane

b) Excavator

c) Tipper Lorry

d) Boring Rig Machines

e) Lorry Crane

f) Vacuum Truck

g) Soil Screener

h) Mini Loader

i) Telehandler

j) Boomlift

Job Requirements:

. Minimum secondary education or equivalent.

. At least 3 years of experience in mechanic role.

. Must be familiar with construction machinery and have prior experience in managing and resolving various machinery issues.

. Ability to read and follow Technical Manuals and Work Instructions accurately.
