- Ensure the plant complies with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, guidelines, and codes of practice.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards on site.
- Maintain safety records including inspection logs, training records, incident reports, and risk assessments.
- Manage forklift training programs and coordinate periodic refresher training for forklift operators.
- Lead and coordinate the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) committee.
- Prepare and submit detailed incident reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.
- Organize and conduct fire emergency response drills twice annually.
- Oversee production facilities maintenance and safety to ensure smooth and safe operations.
