HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL (HSE) OFFICER

• Conduct daily workplace inspections and rectify any unsafe practices or conditions.

• Implement and monitor Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) and ensure compliance with WSH Act and ISO standards.

• Lead investigations of WSH incidents/accidents and prepare formal reports with root cause analysis and follow-up actions.

• Conduct incident and accident investigations, prepare comprehensive reports, and recommend corrective actions.

• Organize and deliver in-house WSH training, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings.

• Develop and review Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and other safety documentation.

• Prepare monthly safety performance reports and dashboards for management review.

• Tabulate and analyze WSH performance data and maintain accurate safety documentation and records

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols for all site activities, including lifting, excavation, and road works.

• Provide strong oversight in road safety and safe operations of landscape machinery (e.g. mulchers, wood chippers, vehicles) in active worksites.

What we're looking for

• Registered WSH Officer with MOM and Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction or landscape-related environments.

• Familiarity with safety practices related to traffic management, landscape equipment, and public road interfaces is a strong advantage.

• Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive in enforcing safety practices.
