We are seeking an experienced leader to drive strategic partnerships, corporate engagement, and volunteer programmes that advance our organisation's mission and support sustainable growth in Singapore's social service landscape. This role focuses on building and nurturing long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders to secure resources, expand impact, and strengthen community ties. You will lead a dedicated team while ensuring structured processes, compliance, and measurable outcomes in all partnership and volunteer activities.
Responsibilities
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide strategic leadership in developing and managing partnerships that supports the organisation's mission and long-term objectives.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with corporate organisations (including CSR & ESG partnerships), trade unions and associations, NGOs and social service agencies, government agencies and statutory boards, as well as educational institutions and grassroots organisations.
- Lead negotiations for sponsorships, MOUs, collaboration agreements, and long-term funding partnerships.
- Represent the organisation in external engagements and collaborative platforms, as appropriate.
- Oversee partnership initiatives to ensure alignment with organisational priorities and desired outcomes.
Corporate Engagement & Resource Development
- Provide oversight of corporate engagement initiatives to support organisational sustainability and impact.
- Strengthen funding and resource channels through partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborative relationships.
- Guide the development of engagement and partnership materials to support outreach efforts.
Volunteer Strategy & Management
- Provide oversight of volunteer engagement initiatives to support programme delivery and organisational needs.
- Ensure volunteer engagement approaches are structured, sustainable, and aligned with organisational standards.
- Support the development of a positive and meaningful volunteer experience.
Team Leadership & Governance
- Lead and oversee the Partnerships & Networks function, providing direction and people development.
- Establish appropriate governance frameworks, policies, and processes to support effective operations and compliance.
- Oversee planning, budgeting, reporting, and engagement with senior management and governance platforms.
- Support any other ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in partnership development, corporate engagement, and volunteer management, with 35 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in Singapore's non-profit, social service, labour movement, or community sector is preferred.
- Proven track record in securing corporate sponsorships and building long-term stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy, with strong negotiation, influencing, and systemsthinking capabilities.
- Strong operational discipline, with the ability to establish structured frameworks, manage KPIs, and oversee complex initiatives.
- Willingness to work on weekends, as required by the nature of the role.
