We are seeking an experienced Head of Global Communications to lead and manage the organization's strategic communications, brand positioning, and reputation management.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that support the founder office's investment activities, corporate initiatives, and stakeholder engagement across internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Communications Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that aligns with the Owner's business goals, brand identity and sustainability initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of key messaging and narratives that resonate with various stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, NGOs and the media.
2. Online Presence
- Establish an online presence for the Owner that reflects an image that supports our business objectives.
- Work with Corporate Comms, Government Relations and Sustainability team of the various companies to ensure their messages get into credible online and traditional media.
- Manage Owners social media presence
3. Media Relations
- Manage relationships with local and international media outlets to ensure brand visibility
- Serve as spokesperson for the Owner as appropriate
4. Crisis Management
- Develop and maintain a crisis communication plan
- Lead the response to crises, ensuring timely and effective communication with all stakeholders
5. Brand Management
- Work closely with all parties to ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels, for the Owner
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of the communication campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or strategic communications.
- Prior experience in financial services, investment management, private banking, or family offices preferred.
- Proven experience advising senior leadership and managing high-level communications.
- Strong understanding of reputation management and confidential communications in private investment environments.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
