Job Description

Overview

The Head, Operational Excellence is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all projects involving construction activities within the IUS line-of-business, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for project planning, execution, and delivery, acting as the subject matter expert for all operations within the COO's team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain oversight on the planning and delivery of all construction projects across the Urban & Water businesses.
  • Ensure alignment of project execution with company objectives and client requirements.
  • Develop and implement best practices for project management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address risks and delays.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.
  • Work in tandem with the urban & water businesses to oversee project budgets and ensure cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field 10 years experience in operational management activities.
  • Minimum 1215 years of experience in large-scale project management; construction-related activities would be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and ERP systems.
  • Open for business travel when required.
