Operating across multiple markets in Asia, they are seeking a Head of Finance for Asia to support their sustainable growth and excellence in production and distribution.
The Role
Reporting to the VP Finance, this is a strategic and hands-on role, partnering closely with business leaders to drive financial performance and support decision-making across diverse markets. You will lead a team and drive FP&A activities, provide commercial insights, and ensure robust financial planning and analysis for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for Asia
- Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis to support commercial decisions
- Partner with business units across multiple markets (China, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam) to optimize performance
- Oversee regional P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management
- Provide financial modeling and scenario planning for strategic initiatives
- Support treasury activities including cash management and FX exposure
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in a dynamic environment
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience
- CA/CPA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in commercial finance, ideally within FMCG or CPG industries
- Strong FP&A expertise with solid budgeting and forecasting experience
- Regional exposure and experience managing multiple SKUs across diverse markets
- Hands-on approach with ability to thrive in less structured environments
- Commercially savvy, forward-thinking, and resilient with strong critical thinking skills
- Experience in treasury and intermediate financial modeling
- Proven leadership experience managing teams
- Ideally exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Navision) and BI tools (Power BI)
- Experience in vertically integrated businesses (sales, distribution, manufacturing) is a plus
