A well-established international financial services platform is seeking a Head of Sales to lead and scale its wealth-focused insurance business. This is a senior leadership role suited for accomplished Head of Bancassurance / Insurance Sales Leaders from leading banks who are looking to broaden their commercial impact in a highly entrepreneurial yet well-resourced environment.
The Role
Reporting to regional head, the role will be responsible for driving overall business performance, expanding distribution channels, and building high-performing sales teams focused on Private Banks, Family Offices, and high-net-worth clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, developing, and motivating a sizeable sales and specialist team with full P&L accountability
- Driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships with Private Banks, Relationship Managers, and wealth platforms
- Setting sales strategy, performance targets, and execution plans across insurance and wealth-related solutions
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to grow market presence and deepen penetration within the HNW segment
- Providing strategic direction while remaining hands-on in key client and partner engagements
The Ideal Profile
- Senior bancassurance leader from a reputable bank (e.g. Head of Bancassurance, Team Hea of Insurance Specialists, Head of Sales, or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing and scaling sales teams with strong commercial results
- Solid understanding of insurance solutions within a wealth management or private banking context
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive growth, structure teams, and execute strategy
- Fluent in Mandarin and English as the role is required to communicate in these languages
